Good morning!

I'm camping again this weekend so it seems appropriate that I would share a not-so-girly card. ;) Man cards are an interesting phenomenon in the mostly women dominated crafting world (no offense, man crafters). A lot of times us women stampers think that man cards have to have dark brown colors, wild animals, tool or car images. We apparently think men live in a ribbon-less world of browns Haha. I am 100% guilty of this (as you'll see with this upcoming card), However I did use some Night of Navy cardstock. ;) After this card I'm going to attempt making man cards with more color and a little bling but for now, you get the typical card. I guess this card could be used for a not very girly woman but I categorized it as manly. Do with it what you'd like. :) Let's see the card.
Stamp Sets: You're Amazing
Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Night of Navy, Very Vanilla
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Candy Dot Brads, Apothecary Accents framelits

See? Not over the top stereotypical manly card. ;) If you'd like to purchase any of the supplies used to make this card you can contact me directly or you can shop 24/7 in my online store, HERE. Thanks for reading, Have a great day!

Convention 2013

Hello all you crafty people! I should apologize for not posting for so long but I was at Stampin' Up's 2013 Convention, so I'm not really all that sorry. ;) Anyway, before I start in on blog posts this week about all the cool things Stampin' Up! is coming out with soon, I thought I'd share some general picture from my trip.

Opening general session was at 5:30 on Thursday night but we couldn't wait around that long so Jennifer Thomas (my friend and upline) and I drove from Boise, Idaho to Salt Lake City, Utah on Tuesday morning. Yay! Let's see some pictures (I apologize in advance for all the "selfie Facebook shots" of Jennifer and I, lol).

Wednesday: Obviously we started with some drinks because it's really the only way to start anything. Haha!

Thursday: This day included the Riverton Campus Tours of Stampin' Up's home office (Picture 1) and Opening General Session (Picture 2). You can clearly see we're having way too much fun! :)

Friday: Friday consisted of a General Session (Picture 1); where we learned about some awesome new products that are coming (stay tuned for more details!), the Stampin' Up! Expo and later on; Awards Night and the 25 year celebration (Picture 2).

Saturday: Saturday was the last day of convention. We had a general session (Picture 1), breakout classes, gathering place/lunch and finally; the closing general session. We were so sad it was the last day! (Picture 4) However, this is also the day I won Prize Patrol! (Pictures 2&3)

If you can't tell by the picture; we had sooo much fun! I always enjoy being around fellow stampers and crafters. The friends you meet and the memories you make are priceless and I look forward to many more years with Stampin' Up! Stay tuned for more information this upcoming week about all the cool info we learned and also the awesome projects we saw. I'll also post each of the 3 swaps I took with me to convention, you won't want to miss those. ;)  Have a fantastic day!

Happy Birthday America?

Hello my wonderful readers. I bet you really want to see a new card. ;) Well I'm here to show you one. This card I made for my last Saturday Stampin'. I really wanted to do something patriotic and Fourth of July based, unfortunately when I looked through my stamp sets I realized I literally own ZERO 4th of July stamps... What?! Does that even make sense? Haha. So I decided to do a patriotic looking card and give people the option to do a Happy Birthday version or a Thank You version. I personally would leave the Happy Birthday to you on the outside and just write America underneath it, Haha. But I wanted to let people choose. Anyway, here's the card:

Stamp Sets: Label Love, Simply Stars
Card Stock: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Real Read, Night of Navy
Ink: Real Red, Crumb Cake
Accessories: Artisan Label punch

I don't normally like red, white and blue together but when it comes to the 4th of July, how could you not love it? ;) If you want to buy any or all of the supplies to used to make this card, contact me or you can shop 24/7 in my online store, HERE. Thanks for stopping by.

New "Best Of" Stamp Set

Boom. I'm actually here on July 1st to tell you what the new "Best Of" set is for this month. I know, it's a miracle! Let's have a little refresher course on what these stamp sets are:

As part of our 25-year anniversary celebration, we're bringing back some of our favorite stamp images from the last quarter century and combining them into 12 sets, which will release-one set per month-during 2013. Even better, along with some great classic images, each "Best of" set will also include a never-before-seen image!

Some things to remember:

  • All Best of stamp sets will include 3-5 images, including a never-before seen image, and will be priced at $14.95.
  • While we are releasing just one Best of stamp set per month (with a new theme each month), all of the Best of sets will be available until March 31, 2014.
  • A new flyer will be released every month for each new Best of set.
  • All Best of stamp sets are available in Clear-Mount only.
As a special incentive to collect the Best of stamps, we're including a collector's card and 25-year proof of purchase sticker with every Best of set. Collect six stickers, and send it in to redeem a FREE set of your choice valued up to $14.95! Free sets must be redeemed no later than April 30, 2014.

Blah Blah Blah, that was boring. Now for the fun part! Ready to see the new stamp set? Here it is. The July "Best Of" stamp set is Best of Shelli. That's right. Shelli Gardner, co-founder of Stampin' Up! picked out her favorite images and they're all right here in this set, let's take a look.

Isn't that just wonderful? Actually to be honest, Shelli and I (not that she has any idea who I am) have never seen eye to eye on our styles; so her vintage-y thing isn't really my taste but! I do love the stacked presents and the weird curly flowery thing in the bottom right corner haha. If you love her style and want to purchase this stamp set, contact me or you can place an order 24/7 in my online shop, HERE. If you'd like to know a little more about this stamp set, check out THIS flyer. Hope you guys have an awesome Monday, if that's even possible. ;)

Settin' Sail

Hi there!

I had an awesome weekend camping but I definitely missed my craft room. I have a few exciting new things to tell you about. The first is a brand new stamp set! If you've been reading my blog, you know that Stampin' Up! has recently introduced a new line of stamps called Photopolymer Stamps. You can read my previous posts on these stamps HERE and HERE. The most obvious benefit of photopolymer stamps is that they're completely clear! You can see exactly where you're going to stamp. Awesome!

The new stamp set is called Settin' Sail and is totally adorable. Here it is:

It's a way-cute nautical themed set and I must admit; I stinking love it! I'm sure you do too so when you decide you need it, let me know or visit my online 24/7 shop, HERE. I'll be back soon with a few more updates, but if you want to read some more about this new photopolymer stamp set, you can check out THIS flyer. Thanks for reading!
